Air intake filters protect the compressor from any dust and dirt which it might suck in. The intake-air filter is the most important filter on your compressor. Dust is the number one enemy of your compressor. Because it will cause wear to the compressor element, valves and other parts.
With using Filsan’s Air filters you will save your compressors oil, oil separator, oil filters and all other moving parts.
The compressor air filters need to be cleaned and/or replaced regularly. Dirty inlet filters will reduce your air compressor’s output capacity and it causes higher energy bill. Also, if your compressor is installed in a very dusty or dirty place (metal workshop with oily air, wood workshop with a lot of dust, sand-blasting workshop, etc) and if you have no place to put the compressor in its own room with fresh air, you must replace the air filters more regularly. This will save you a lot of maintenance issues.

Filsan’s plastic end caps air filters are tough, easy to instal and replace from your system. Elements are lightweight, self-supporting and you dont need a housing for them.
You can install Filsan’s plastic end caps air filters without any problem horizontally or vertically. If you need specail request on these type of air filters, Filsan can produce and design your special needs with different shapes, color and different filter media such as fiberglass or cellulose.

Radial Seal Air Filters
Most important part for the radial seal air filter are the seal, molded ends, inner and outer metal wrappers and the media. The inner and outer metal wrappers protect the filter media and provide structural strength for the completed filter. With 70 percent of the surface area of all Filsan metal wrappers open, minimal air flow restriction is attained.
Filsan guaranties maximum strength and minimum restriction through its special pleat design. Filsan’s special designed pleats, which creates built-in pleat spacing in the media. This adds extra stability and separation to prevent pleats bunching together from incoming air. To complete the process of air filter construction, an urethane compound is used to form the molded ends. This urethane compound bonds the media pack, which includes the inner and outer metal wrappers, forming a strong, yet flexible package. The heavy-duty radial seal gasket formed from this urethane compound is designed to make servicing easier and reduces cost. The end result of this process is an exceptional balance of filter durability, efficiency and capacity.
